It's cutting time

Our original intent in planting haygrazer was simply to plow it back under after the growing season to build up our soil's organic matter. Given the drought and plight of local ranchers though, we decided to alter course and make some hay.



The cutter came today. After three to five days of drying time, he'll return to do the bailing.

Grow cows, grow.

Better than Christmas

Nathan just received his very first oscilloscope in the mail. He could not be more thrilled.

I'm still not quite sure what one is but it has something to do with depicting changes in electric quantity.
